Would an independent director of a subsidiary of a listed corporation, who is proposed to be appointed as an independent director of such listed corporation, be disqualified from acting as an independent director of such listed corporation pursuant to sub-Rule (b) of the said definition?
No, an independent director of a subsidiary will not be disqualified from acting as an independent director of such listed corporation pursuant to sub-Rule (b) of the said definition.
